C&c or favs?

Comments and critique or giving a favourite to the artwork? Is there really any difference between them? How do they differ? Here are some of my own thoughts about this matter. Critique = positive, negative and neutral

I was wondering a while ago how to receive advanced comments and critique. And also how to give those little diamonds, which so greatly help artists to develop themselves. It's hard to try to remember, while commenting, that maybe the artist would like to hear something else than 'I really love your style!'. The first thing I think about that...

Thank you very much, regarding using too much water colour paint, I mix with gouache when I need to get certain effects, it stops that blob of shine that you are talking about. Good Painting ,Regards Arto

Hi, my cousin Riita has been sending some very lovely photos of the Finnish spring, flowers, trees ,water ,sky etc. I will be using these as starting material for a couple of water colours later. I have 100 more pics that are in DevArt, I am a fine artist and a cartoon artist, not many do both, you are a fine artist, this is my favourite activity, I get closer to the creative spirit of the subject. Paljon kiitoksia , Thank you. You have unique expressive qualities in all your work, I relate to them very much, this piece was haunting and very Finnish. I am originaly from Finland, I prefer traditional art work, you get closer to the subject as you know. I enjoy your art that is why I put you on the watch list.
