Two fox spirits, one in a shape of fox, one has taken form of human (with claws and tail..). And the trees drove me nuts -_-''. Why, why do I always make trees when thinking the backround?

My final degree work, part 1 of the three parts. The all three parts took me 8 weeks to finish. The first two weeks I was waiting for the correct paper I wanted. The last four weeks I was working daily and the last 21 days to the grand opening I worked literally about 12-16 hours per day . But this was worth it.

From his mouth grew the dark green fir-tree

My final degree work, part 2 of the three parts. The all three parts took me 8 weeks to finish. The first two weeks I was waiting for the correct paper I wanted. The last four weeks I was working daily and the last 21 days to the grand opening I worked literally about 12-16 hours per day . But this was worth it.

This was the piece I worked on longest time. The spruce trees on the front took a lot of time to finish. I wanted to make in the bacround a very traditional Finnish landscape painting. I think that turned out nicely.

My final degree work, part 3 of the three parts. The all three parts took me 8 weeks to finish. The first two weeks I was waiting for the correct paper I wanted. The last four weeks I was working daily and the last 21 days to the grand opening I worked literally about 12-16 hours per day . But this was worth it.

I love the way the dark river of Tuonela finally turned out. I wanted to make the painting calm. Tuonela is a place in Kalevala where the dead goes and to go there you one needs to cross river Tuoni.

I've been painting this a bit every now and then. Based on a campain we are playing. My D&D roleplay character Elisaria Moonphase and holding remains of her friend Iragol Ildacer (NPC) who died in a battle against demons in a temple.

The scanner brought paper texture up a bit more than I'd want, but next time painting on smoother paper =^^=.

(For those who know D&D a bit more, a Vrock halved Iragol to two pieces at the end of the battle -_-''.)

Schoolwork

Time: 4 weeks, including:
Building the strainer to all parts, wrapping canvas, adding glue base three times (didn't use gesso), sketching, toning the canvas with acrylics, painting with oil colours, cutting four parts of piano hinges, painting the last part of middle canvas and and getting all canvas together.

The photo isn't the best quality in colours, I'm sorry about it. Updating better one when I get to use our schools studio. This is the school work from the first period. The middle part was most difficult to build since there is a hole in the canvas and behind it is an other canvas. Comments and critique very welcome.

UPDATE: I finally get to the school studio with my camera and the painting. Here is the result. I hope you like it better than the dark photo. Runes that I have painted have many different meanings and names like all runes. I use the names I know. I've painted these runes by thinking their meanings, but I don't tell to you what meanings have I thought. Why? I want you to think the meaning yourself if you like to, I don't want to spoil you the fun.. If someone really really wants to know I can tell. No worries. And no, I don't know anything about reading runes, I just wanted to paint them and find information about them. ^^''
